With fabricflat ribbon cables, PD CABLE-SYSTEMS GmbH offers a manufacturing process thatis unique in Europe for the combination of a wide range of cables and hosevariations as well as energy supply systems as well as for special and hybridcables.
These areprimarily designed for highly dynamic, low-wear applications with the lowestpossible noise emissions. The mass of the ribbon cable system is determinedalmost exclusively by the weight of the cables used. The cables, single cores,optical fibers and hoses installed in the flat ribbon cables are exclusivelycatalogue goods as well as customer-specific special cables. The arrangement ofthe individual elements is possible in any form and is made to customerrequirements. All elements are organized over the entire length of the cable ina fixed layout. An arbitrary change of position is excluded.
The compoundfabric creates flexible, self-sustaining and self-supporting elastic cablestructures. They can be produced both endlessly and in precisely definedlengths. Fabric flat ribbon cables offer the user a cabling solution thatleaves nothing to be desired when it comes to moving mass, compactness,individuality and flexibility. The company produces polyethylene films, mainly for food packaging and hygiene products. The success of the company of Gebr. Dürrbeck Kunststoffe GmbH can be seen most easily in the size of the production halls. After the foundation of the company in 1956, a 1,600 sqm hall was built 13 years later. In 1999, the total production area was already 7,500 sqm. In its 50th year, the company now produces 22,000 tons of film per year on 11,000 square meters.
