Company History
In the early days of container shipping, all containers were closed and secured by ordinary padlocks with keys. But the key for a padlock on a container presented a problem as the keys were often delayed or lost at final destination.
This caused Michael Remark to invent a locking device that had to be cheaper than a padlock but with the same security.
In other words: " A padlock intended to be opened by a bolt-cutter".
Furthermore, we hold the patent for the Anti-Spin mechanism for Bolt Seals.
With his first design, Michael Remark founded in 1974 OneSeal ApS.
